About The Venue
Situated on the edge of the village of Godney, between England’s smallest city Wells and the unique town of Glastonbury, the venue is a family run business diversified from the family farm that operates alongside it. Michael and Jenny and their two children Andrew & Rachel have worked hard to create a special environment for your special day.
The venue can hold up to 120 seated guests for a wedding ceremony. If the venue is to be used for the reception it can accommodate 65 guests seated with tables, or if more guests are required , then a marquee can be hired which can be situated outside on the grass areas. In the evening, the maximum number of guests is 150 both inside and out.
Hire of the venue includes staff for setting up the chairs for the service and change over from the ceremony to the reception in the church.
Our venue comes with an option of three packages that suit all budgets, details of which can be found below.
Catering
We can recommend local caterers that have been tried and tested, or if you have someone in mind we provide full use of the kitchen area
Bar & Drinks
Alcohol and drink on site is provided by us unless agreed otherwise, and we can supply an outside vintage bar "The Tipsy Mare" to enhance the overall experience
Decor
Our church is a blank canvas. You can provide your own decor and arrangements, or we are happy to recommended suppliers familiar with the venue
Marquees
If you a require a marquee, we have plenty of space and can recommend and source local suppliers and arrange all required furniture
Accommodation
Alongside our venue we now provide a number of accommodation options, from glamping pods & a 3 bed cottage to campervan hook ups!!
Extras
If you are looking for something different, from a hot air balloon flight, to props for a themed weddings, to refrigeration units for your bubbly, we have the answer

Wedding Package One
From £ 1,000 + vat
Ceremony only in our beautiful venue
- 50 pine fold up chairs. Additional chairs can be hired a for £ 3 each
- Registrars table with white linen cloth
- 3 window frames for floral displays
- Ivy garland
- Pee lights around chapel
- Facilities to include sound system in the church, toilets & car park
- Welcome drinks and canapés, all waitressed served staff after the service at an additional cost
Wedding Package Two
From £ 3,500 + vat
Ceremony & Reception for 50 guests with a further 50 evening guests
- Choice of welcome drinks for 50 guests
- 50 pine fold up chairs
- 5 round tables or 9 trestle tables including a choice of table linen and napkins
- 3 window frames for floral displays
- Ivy garland and Pee lights around chapel
- Use of kitchen, and up to 50 place settings including white china, but not glassware.
- Toilets, large free car parking 7 outside garden area
- Additional guests £ 30 + vat per person
Wedding Package Three
From £ 5,950 + vat
Ceremony & Reception for 50 guests with a further 70 evening guests and accommodation for 12 onsite
- Choice of welcome drinks for 50 guests
- 50 pine fold up chairs
- 5 round tables or 9 trestle tables including a choice of table linen and napkins
- 3 window frames for floral displays
- Ivy garland and Pee lights around chapel
- Use of kitchen, and up to 50 place settings including white china, but not glassware.
- Toilets, large free car parking, outside garden area with furniture including 4 picnic tables, 16 hay bales, 1 fire pit with logs, outside lights and 6×4 gazebo.
- Exclusive use of the outside “Tipsy Mare Bar”
- Accommodation for 12 guests; 2 night stay in our luxury glamping pods (sleeps 2) and Tor View cottage (sleeps 6) including bed linen and towels. Plus 5 electric hooks for caravans or campervans
- Additional guests £ 45 + vat per person
